Im from a african carribean decent, but love the African food and Jallof rice. There are ao many stages to cover when making it but now, i can make this beautiful cultural rice, skip a lot of the stages and still enjoy this beautiful taste.

Truly the best sauce for any African dish! Just delish! I just know this is big competition for all African Restaurants in the UK! They might as well buy and use this in their menu’s!! Just so easy with this product. Jollof 1 23!!

I was confused at first as my postage cost was refunded but not for the whole order. Wondered what was going on, but had a fairly prompt reply to enquiry. Product turned up the next day and even had a message again from them checking in. So a brilliant experience. I brought the case of 8 bottles as why not 😍.

I ordered the medium and found it was pretty hot actually, but that’s how I like it so was happy. On the plus side, I liked that Varo made it easy to create an authentic jollof rice, they sent additional recipe cards for other dishes I can do with the sauces. On the negative side, the bottles made it tricky to get the sauce out, the neck was small, I used a similar sauce that had more of a wide jar which was easy. The jar also doubled up as the perfect measurement vessel for the water. Varo jar is smaller so it needed one jar of water plus about 60mls more, roughly. I liked that the Varo sauce was made with natural ingredients and no added nasties.
