Ingredients
- 1 bottle Varo Medium Sauce
- 50ml vegetable oil
- 400g washed rice
- 100g tomato paste
- 700ml of water
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- In a sauce pan, add vegetable oil and allow to heat up
- Pour content of Varo Medium Jollof Sauce into already heated oil and leave to cook for a minute
- Add tomato paste and a pinch of salt and stir to combine. Allow to fry for 3 minutes
- Pour washed rice into the tomato mix and stir thoroughly to combine.
- Cover and leave to cook for 2 minutes under low heat
- Add water to the rice and cook under low heat till desire texture is achieved
- Stir thoroughly and serve with any protein of choice
