This stew is a very quick recipe, yet incredibly tasty. It delivers authentic African flavours and can be served with Jollof, fried or plain rice. It's delicious either way. Varo Jollof sauce perfectly balances heat, spice and tanginess, to deliver a complex range of flavours in such a simple recipe.
• Gravy granules
• 250ml of water
• 30 ml of jollof sauce
• 5ml of Vegetable oil
• 40g tomato
• 20g diced carrot
• 20g peas
• Salt (to taste)
• Black Pepper (to taste)
-Heat oil in a saucepan. Add chopped tomatoes and saute till cooked.
- Add all the above vegetables (carrot & peas) and saute for a minute.
-Add water and gravy granules. Stir well to avoid any lumps.
- Season it according to your taste and let it simmer till the vegetables get cooked in the curry.
- Serve hot with your favourite rice meal.
